If you do not rent out the property
If you own a Spanish property for your own use or for family and friends, the government charges you a yearly tax which is based on the value of your property.
I offer a simple, efficient and economical way for you to pay this tax. Initially I will give you my English form explaining the details I need from you to enable me to calculate the tax. We can usually complete everything via email and telephone and I can either post or email the completed documents to you.
I can either take control of the whole process for you and pay the tax on your behalf or I can send the forms to you to present for payment in your own bank in Spain. You will have a copy of the tax form and proof of payment for your own records.
If the property is in one name the yearly fee is £30.
For a property in two names the yearly fee is £50.
